KEEP YOUR OLD CLOTHES a blog from LINDON COLLARD

I BOUGHT THESE SHIRTS 33 YEARS AGO. MY AUNT ANNETTE GAVE ME $1000 TO BUY CLOTHES. MY HOUSE WAS BURNED DOWN IN 1980 AND I STILL HAD NO CLOTHES, ONE PAIR OF SHOES AND I ALWAYS DROVE $500 TO $900 CARS. I HAD MY HOUSE WHICH MY HORRIBLE SIBLING FAMILY AND MY WIFE HAD PUT ME INTO DEBT OVER SO I DID NOT REALLY OWN IT.

THE UPPER SHIRT WAS USED 500 TIMES, WASHED OVER AND OVER,  AND THE LOWER SHIRT ONLY A FEW DOZEN TIMES.

BOTH SHIRTS ARE STILL PERFECTLY SERVICEABLE ALTHOUGH THERE ARE HOLES IN THE HEAVILY USED ONE FROM SNAGGING IT WHILE I WORKED.

I HAVE THE HEAVILY USED ONE ON NOW. I HAVE A NUMBER OF SIMILAR SHIRTS MY SONS WERE DISCARDING. ONLY A FEW OF THEM FEEL AS NICE AS THE COTTON SHIRTS FROM MANY YEARS AGO. THIS SAVES MONEY. IT IS ALSO A VERY GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY AS NONE OF MY OLD, STILL IN USE, SHIRTS HAVE ENDED UP IN A LANDFILL.
