COOLING TRENDS IN EUROPE AND EASTERN NORTH AMERICA PRODUCE MORE SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
THIS PHENOMENON IS A PRODUCT OF THE MELTING OF GLACIERS IN THE ARCTIC REGION WHICH FLOODS THE NORTH ATLANTIC WITH FRESH WATER, LIGHTER THAN THE WARM SEA WATER FROM THE SOUTH. THIS PREVENTS THE GULF STREAM FROM TRANSMITTING ITS WARMTH TO THE ARCTIC REGION. THE COOLED SEA WATER WOULD RETURN DOWN DEEP AND FLOW BACK SOUTHWARDS BUT LESS SO NOW THAT IT IS LIGHTENED BY FRESH WATER MELTED FROM THE GLACIERS.
THE SHUTDOWN OF THE ATLANTIC CONVEYOR
The theory was that particulate pollution from burning diesel and bunker fuels would darken the glaciers causing them to melt was the warning perceived back in the 1960's. Once the Oceans rose there would be a wide distribution of the waters of the seas without a whole lot of water tied up in land based glaciers. This situation was considered to be dangerously unstable as a contributor to a possible Ice Age. If some other factors would cool the entire Earth snow could fall everywhere.
We, the people I knew at school mostly, lived in Eastern Canada and that is where the cooling of winter temperatures is happening now. Global warming will probably moderate or negate most summertime cooling but the winters may well be fierce and cold as we, particularly myself, had theorized they would be.
THIS LOCALIZED WINTER COOLING DOES NOT INDICATE ANYTHING WHICH WOULD NEGATE THE FACT THAT CO2 AND METHANE HEAT RETENTION WILL SOON BURN UP THE WORLD WITH HEAT TOO HIGH TO SUPPORT HUMANITY'S NEEDS.
Waste not. Waste not. Waste nothing. Waste not the bounty of the Earth. Waste not the Air nor the Water Nor the Land.
WASTE NOT FOR HUMANITY HAS GREAT NEED AND THE ANIMALS AND PLANTS HAVE GREAT NEED.
The Great Need of all of the Earth and its inhabitants is fulfilled and satisfied and does not diminish. Waste not what will be greatly needed in the future through careless consumption and mindless destruction today and tomorrow and every day.
